Contribute to $2.5 million fund for Black-led community effort to develop alternatives to safety
All jurisdictions contribute to establishing ongoing Black community-led workgroup that will develop community safety alternatives; policy proposals will be deliberated for 2020 and 2021 sessions and beyond - Funding Ask $2.5M. The Reimagine Public Safety Advisory Council is currently meeting and moving forward. They have received support from the state, Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington County.
